Karine Ewert qualified as a Registered Nurse with a degree in Adult Nursing in 1994. Karine moved into the field of Clinical Research after working as a Staff Nurse in the Tropical Medicine and Infectious Diseases department in England. Following a number of years working in a Phase I clinical research unit, Karine moved back up to Scotland in 1999 and gained a post at Controlled Therapeutics.

In her current role as Clinical Project Manager, Karine has been involved in the management of clinical projects from concept to reporting, including writing manuscripts for publication. She also has pharmacovigilance responsibilities during clinical trials and for the marketed product Propess®/ Cervidil®.
