Susan Jeffrey completed a B.Sc Honours in microbiology from the University of Aberdeen in 1985 before joining Inveresk Research International. In 1988 she joined Controlled Therapeutics, was elected a Member of the Institute of Biology and was awarded Chartered Biologist status. In 1993 she achieved Qualified Person status.

Susan has over 20 years experience of pharmaceutical manufacturing covering Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Production, Pharmaceutical Research and Development, and Clinical. In her current role as Director of Operations at Controlled Therapeutics she is responsible for Production, Quality Control, Engineering and Logistics for both marketed and clinical trial products within a fully compliant cGMP and FDA and MHRA regulated facility.
