Contolled Therapeutics, together with our parent company Cytokine PharmaSciences Inc (CPSI), are actively researching and developing a number of new products. Controlled Therapeutics are focused on the products that are currently in Phases I through to III.

The Research & Development group can be split into 3 areas:
Analytical Development
The responsibilities of the Analytical Laboratory include:
- Method development and validation
- Stability analysis
- Clinical trial testing
- Transfer of methods to Quality Control laboratory
- Research of new techniques
- Formulation support testing
Formulation
The responsibilities of the Formulation laboratory include:
- Initial screening
- Development of test formulations for clinical and stability trials
- Developing and optimising manufacturing processes
- Scale-up
- Transfer of processes to Production
Polymer Science
The responsibilities of the Polymer Science laboratory include:
- Development of new polymers
- Optimisation of the polymer manufacture process
- Physical testing of polymers
