Today announced the election of David E. Robinson to its Board of Directors. Mr. Robinson is Chairman, CEO and President of Ligand Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a San Diego biotechnology company.

Prior to joining Ligand, he held various executive positions at Erbamont, Adria Laboratories and Abbott. Mr. Robinson received his B.A. in political science and history from MacQuaire University, Australia and his M.B.A. from the University of New South Wales, Australia. He is a Director of xceptor Therapeutics, Inc., a privately held, research -stage, biotechnology company, and BIOCOM San Diego, and is a director and past Chairman of the Board of the Biotechnology Industry Organization.
