| Steve
Robertson graduated in Pharmacy from the Robert Gordon
University in 1979. After becoming a member of the Royal
Pharmaceutical Society he worked within the hospital sector
before joining the industry at Bard Laboratories in Aberdeen
in 1981.
Working
initially in product analysis, Steve was promoted to
Section Head of BioAnalysis when he joined the Napp
Research part of the Purdue Company and relocated to
Cambridge in 1982. Steve spent the next four and a half
years in Cambridge before accepting an appointment to
come back to Scotland with Controlled Therapeutics to
play a pivotal role in establishing the Company on a
greenfield site in 1987.
Steve
became a Chartered Chemist and member of the Royal Society
of Chemistry in 1994.
Since
then Steve has held a variety of key posts at CTS from
Quality through to Research and Development Chemistry
before moving into the role of Strategic Projects Director
2 years ago. This role utilises Steve's technical expertise,
his FDA/MHRA regulatory experience and project management
ability. It involves in depth interaction with partners,
regulatory bodies and all divisions of CTS and CPSI.
