| Susan
Jeffrey completed a B.Sc Honours in microbiology from
the University of Aberdeen in 1985 before joining Inveresk
Research International. In 1988 she joined Controlled
Therapeutics, was elected a Member of the Institute of
Biology and was awarded Chartered Biologist status. In
1993 she achieved Qualified Person status.
Susan
has almost 20 years experience of pharmaceutical Quality
covering GMP, GCP and GLP for both Investigational Medicinal
and Market products. In her current role as Director
of Quality at Controlled Therapeutics she is responsible
for Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Validation
for both marketed and clinical trial products within
a fully compliant cGMP and FDA and MHRA regulated facility.
Susan
was involved in the initiation; design and implementation
of the Quality system leading to an FDA approved manufacturing
facility in 1994. As the Company has developed, Susan's
interests have extended to process improvement, all
aspects of clinical trials and to APIs where she has
collaborated with producers worldwide to ensure a secure
supply stream. Susan has extensive experience in Logistics
and New Pack Introduction, collaborating with trading
partners to ensure successful product launch.
